SEO-Focused Web Design

Websites Built for Search and for the Phone

A good-looking site that nobody finds, or that visitors leave before calling, is an expense. We build sites that load fast on a phone, get crawled cleanly, and count every call and inquiry they produce.

Decide what the site has to do before anyone opens a design tool

Most redesigns start with colors and a homepage mockup. We start with a shorter list: which services make you money, which areas you want work from, and what a visitor should do next. For a plumber that is usually a call. For a remodeler it might be a quote form with photos. Everything else in the build follows from that.

A site is also only one part of how you get found. It works alongside local SEO for the map and organic results and the rest of the services we offer. The design has to give those efforts something solid to point at.

One page per real service

Each service you want to rank for gets its own page with its own purpose. Lumping six services onto one page makes it hard for Google to match any of them, and hard for a customer to find theirs.

If you are still deciding what to rebuild, the practical write-ups in our SEO insights for Henderson businesses cover the questions owners usually ask first.

Static site or CMS: an honest comparison

Static build

Pages are plain files served as-is. They load fast, there is no database or plugin stack to attack, and hosting is simple. The tradeoff is that edits usually go through us or a developer rather than a login screen.

CMS such as WordPress

Your team can edit and publish without help, which suits businesses that post often. The cost is upkeep: core, theme, and plugin updates, plus the security exposure that comes with them. An abandoned CMS is a common way small business sites get hacked.

We recommend whichever fits how you will actually use the site. Neither choice ranks better on its own. Speed, structure, and content decide that.

Speed and mobile are the same conversation

Plenty of local service searches happen on a phone, often from someone who needs help soon. A page that takes too long to show anything useful loses that visitor to the next result.

What we do to keep pages light

Every call and form gets counted

Our whole approach rests on judging SEO by calls and inquiries. That only works if the site records them.

Click-to-call that is actually tracked

Phone numbers are tappable links on mobile, and taps are recorded as events so you can see which pages lead to calls. The number is the same everywhere on the site and matches your listings.

Forms that are tested end to end

A form can look fine and still fail to send. Before launch we submit test inquiries and confirm they arrive where you expect them. We also add basic spam filtering so real inquiries are not buried.

Schema that describes the business accurately

Structured data tells search engines your business name, address, phone, hours, and services in a format they can read directly. We only mark up what is true and visible on the page. Invented reviews or ratings in schema can get a site penalized.

Redesigns and migrations without losing rankings

The riskiest part of a new site is the switch. Pages that have ranked for years can drop out if their addresses change and nothing tells Google where they went.

  1. Crawl the old site and list every URL that has traffic, links, or rankings.
  2. Map each one to its closest new page, with a 301 redirect for every URL that changes.
  3. Carry over the content that works, rewritten where needed through our on-page SEO and content work.
  4. Launch, then verify redirects, indexing, and forms from outside the site, not from memory.

If the current site has deeper problems, a technical SEO audit before the rebuild shows what to fix and what to leave alone.

Built around where your customers are

Service-area structure depends on geography. A contractor working out of our Henderson SEO home base near Green Valley might split pages between Henderson neighborhoods and the rest of the valley. A business focused on Henderson business districts like the St. Rose Parkway corridor needs different pages than one chasing work across Las Vegas and Summerlin. And a company in Pahrump, about an hour west over the Spring Mountains on NV-160, usually wants its site to speak to Nye County customers first rather than pretend to be a Las Vegas business.

We won't promise a ranking or a launch date for Google to reward. We will build a site that is fast, accurate, and measurable, so you can see what it produces.

Questions we hear from business owners

Will a new website hurt my current rankings?

It can if the move is careless, which is why we map every existing URL before launch and redirect each one to its closest new page. Some movement right after launch is normal while Google recrawls. We compare calls and inquiries before and after, and keep watching the redirects once the site is live.

Should my site be on WordPress?

It depends on who will edit it and how often. A CMS makes sense when your team publishes regularly and will keep plugins updated. If the site changes a few times a year, a static build is usually faster and has far less to patch.

How long does a website build take?

It depends on the number of pages, how much content needs writing, and how fast approvals come back. We give you a schedule after scoping instead of a generic promise. Migrations add time for URL mapping and testing, and that step is not worth rushing.

Do I own the website when it is finished?

We walk through ownership of the domain, hosting, and site files during scoping so there are no surprises. Your domain should always be registered in an account you control. If anything about that is unclear on your current site, it is worth sorting out before a rebuild.
